Jonnie Allen

Jonnie Mae Allen, age 63, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on December 29, 2017.

Jonnie graduated from Sacred Heart Special Ed. She worked for over 14 years at the Baton Rouge Sheltered Workshop. She participated in the Special Olympics and loved her family dearly.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Joyce Gill Allen; her sisters, Carolyn Allen Patty and husband Richard and Kathy Allen Guisinger and husband Richard; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Jonnie is preceded in death by her father, John Freeman Allen; her grandparents, Dixie Singleton Gill and Walter J. Gill and Charlie and Minnie Allen.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 9:00am until funeral service at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Pallbearers will be her first cousins.
