Johnny CeballosRivera aka Juan De La Cruz passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the age of 83. He was a native of Santurce, Puerto Rico and a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and fatherinlaw. Master Gunnery Sergeant E9 Johnny CeballosRivera served 32 years in the United States Marine Corp. His hobbies were golfing, tennis, politics, and current events. Johnny loved watching Westerns and the news. He is survived by his wife, Josefina Cookie CeballosRivera daughters, Elizabeth Jossie Baltazaar and Viviana Vicky CeballosRivera sons, Junito CeballosRivera, Johnny CeballosRivera, Jr., Jerry CeballosRivera, Roger CeballosRiver, and John John CeballosRivera brotherinlaw and sistersinlaw, Roger and Luz Delia Cunningham and Jina CeballosRivera nieces, Wanda CeballosRivera and Madeline CeballosRivera daughtersinlaw, Deanna CeballosRivera, Claudia CeballosRivera, and Emily CeballosRivera sonsinlaw, Ronny Ray Baltazaar and Russell Baltazaar 17 grandchildren and 6 greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eustaquio Ceballos and Reta Rivera. Visitation will be held at The First United Pentecostal Church, 1020 South Range Avenue, Denham Springs, LA 70726, on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 9 am until funeral service beginning at 10 am.
