John Willis

John C. Willis native of Birmingham, AL and resident of Prairieville, LA passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015 at the age of 66.

He was an avid tennis player, golfer, and enjoyed playing fantasy sports. As Vice President of ADCO Companies Ltd, he was a part of the ADCO family for 37 years. John was well loved by those who knew him. He was sought after for his boundless wisdom and knowledge. He also posed as a father-figure to any who needed guidance. John was a deep thinker with a kind heart.

John is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Jodi J. Willis; two sons, John Tyler Willis and Charles Ryan Willis; mother, Margaret Hinkle Willis; two sisters, Virginia and her husband Michael Adamson, and Evelyn Hackney; one brother, Bill and his wife Mary Swan Willis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Campbell Willis, Jr.

Visitation will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until memorial service at 3:00 p.m.
