John May, Jr.

John S. May, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the age of 80. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Ann Whittington May daughters and sonsinlaw, Nancy and Doug Jones, Patty and Gary Guidry, Wanda and Jody Overshiner, Fay and Allen Lofton nine grandchildren, Jami Davis and husband Kenny, Tasha Medine, Trey Jones and wife Kim, Kristy Allen and husband Jack, Brandy Goutreaux and husband Eric, April Shulz and husband Todd, Johnathan Didier and wife Mel, Chad Lofton, and Justin Lofton and sixteen greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two greatgrandchildren, Taylor Pourciau and Kenneth Earl Davis, III. Visitation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 4 pm until 8 pm with religious and masonic services beginning at 7 pm. A graveside service will be Friday, December 13, 2013 at Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood, Louisiana at 11 am. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Didier, Chad Lofton, Justin Lofton, Kenny Davis, Brady Davis, and Brett Goutreaux. Honorary Pallbearers will be Todd Schulz and Allen Lofton.
