John Lyon

John Lyon
was a loving partner, father, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle, and friend. He went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2014. He worked as an Audit Director for LADOTD for 39 years. He retired May of 2013. John never met a stranger because he always carried his 200 Question Questionnaire with him.

He is survived by his partner, Alan Rusch sons, Nicky and wife Mindy, and Joey grandchildren, Derick and Destiny brother, Billy and wife Seritta many nieces, nephews, and cousins. John is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann and parents, Bill and Mary Lyon. He will be dearly missed.

Visiting hours will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visiting will resume at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Jefferson Hwy. on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 10:00 am until service time. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am.
