John Jones

A loving husband and father, he died at 5 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2012. He was 65, a resident of Denham Springs. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home on Friday, August 10 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting continues Saturday, August 11 from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. conducted by Pastor Leslie Akin. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Mary V. Ginger Jones son, John Russell Russ Jones sister, RoseMarie Bunch and husband Fred sisterinlaw, Ruth Lulie Cosby and husband Wayne brotherinlaw, David A. Long, Jr. and wife Melinda best friend, Russ Jackson and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Lemuel and Gertrude Jones daughter, Mary Elizabeth Beth Jones and niece, Christin Cosby.
