A native of Dallas, Texas, and resident of Napoleonville, Louisiana passed away at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the age of 82. He was born February 2, 1942, to John L. and Margaret Clark Huddleston.
John is survived by his two sons, Christopher (Jamie) and Andrew (Kelly) Huddleston; a daughter, Meg (Jason) Placke; a sister, Anne Sullivan; and seven grandchildren, Luke, Jacob, Elizabeth, Finn, Gus, Addie, and Patrick. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Carmouche Huddleston, and his parents.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the exceptional caregivers at Sunrise Senior Living of Baton Rouge and St. Joseph Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to a Veterans organization of your choice.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Avenue in Baton Rouge, on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until the Mass begins at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in the cemetery at St. Anne Catholic Church in Napoleonville at a later date.
