John Olen Gautreau Dude
native of Gonzales, LA and resident of Prairieville, LA passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at the age of 70. John graduated from Gonzales High School. He honorably served our country in the United States Navy. John was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and brother, as well as a loyal Saints and LSU Tigers fan. He enjoyed spending his time after retirement as a volunteer for Brave Heart Children in Need.

John is survived by his wife of 15 years, Janice Russell Gautreau daughters, Michelle Gautreau Faucheux and husband Dion, and Angela Gautreau grandchildren, Trent, Nathan, and Heath Faucheux, sisters, Geraldine Argrave, and Phyllis Hebert and husband Klein brothers, Gary Gautreau and wife Etoile, Ferril Gautreau and wife Linda, and Kevin Gautreau and the mother of his children, Brenda Garcia. John is preceded in death by his parents, Olen and Rita Gautreau.

Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA. 70816 on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 8:30 am until service at 10:00 am. Reverend Donnie Easley will officiate. Interment to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memories.
