A resident of San Francisco, he died at 1:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, at his home. He was 34, born March 13, 1973, in Baton Rouge. Visiting at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Saturday, Dec. 29, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Mike Collins. Private burial will be in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his parents, John D. Sr. and Eula W. Garon, of Baton Rouge; a sister, Jessica D. Garon, of Lexington, Ky.; two brothers, Jason D. Garon and wife Tonya, of Port Allen, and Joshua D. Garon and wife Darla, of Baton Rouge; paternal grandfather, John B. Garon, of Baton Rouge; a niece, Amber Garon, of Port Allen; and four nephews, Jason Garon Jr., of Port Allen, and Drew, Jared and Jacob Garon, all of Baton Rouge. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Virginia Garon; and maternal grandparents, Cleve A. Womack Sr. and Ida Womack Poche. Donations may be made to a memorial account in John's name at Teacher's Federal Credit Union.
