John Couvillion

An employee with Reddy Ice and resident of Prairieville, he died Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at his home. He was 61 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial in Oak Lane Memorial Park. Survived by his wife, Sylvia Brown Couvillion daughters, Bobbi Jo Couvillion, Bridget Kyle and husband Mike, and Ericka Gremillion and husband Craig son, James Claude Couvillion and wife Christie sister, Mabel Pino brothers, Mike, Bernie, Paul, Donnie and Sam and nine grandchildren, Taylor, Lauren, Barrett, Christopher, Olivia, Maddie, Nick, Trent and Maggie. Preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Therese Couvillion and brother, Eddie Couvillion. Pallbearers will be Bernie Couvillion, Donnie Couvillion, Mike Couvillion, Claude Couvillion, Mike Kyle and Craig Gremillion. Special thanks to Life Source.
