John Colona

A loving and devoted spouse and father, John "Ryan" Colona went to his heavenly home Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the age of 34. Ryan was a native of Baton Rouge, LA. and a resident of Prairieville, LA. He never met a stranger. Ryan was kind hearted and loved his family and friends. He loved sports and was an avid LSU and Saints football fan. He also coached children in the AYBA programs in Ascension Parish. Ryan loved gatherings for any occasions, especially to watch football games. He cherished the company of his family and friends. Ryan is survived by his wife, Cheramie Love-Tacker; his daughter, Calla Rosemary Colona; his parents, John David Colona and Mary Goff Colona; his brother, Preston Benjamin Colona and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Colona and maternal grandparents, James and Alma Goff. Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA, Friday, September 8, 2017 from 12:00 pm until Funeral Service at 2:00 pm.
