John Adrian Clement, age 84, a native of Plaquemine and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on December 1, 2021. He retired from Dow Chemical in 1991 and from the Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge in 2021. John was a member at St George Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gayle, son, Lanny, sister, Gloria Boudreaux, four brothers-in-law, JD Rodosta, Lynn Amedee, Larry Amedee (Joyce), Barry Amedee (Kathy), and three grandchildren, Trevor, Joseph, and Sara Clement. He is preceded in death by his daughter Allison Clement, parents Frank and Mary Clement, in-laws Joe E and Ruth Amedee, brother, Frank Clement, Jr, and sisters, Connie and Cecile Clement, Libby Verret, and Iris Rodosta; brother-in-law, Hayward Boudreaux and sister-in-law, Judy Amedee. Visiting hours will take place at St George Catholic Church on Monday December 6, 2021 from 11:30am until mass at 1:00pm. Burial will take place at Resthaven. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St Joseph’s Academy Foundation or St Vincent de Paul. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to members of St George Catholic Church.
