An engineer with CDI, he died at 7:05 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 58, a U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and a native of Texarkana, Ark. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home chapel, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Thursday, Jan. 15, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10:30 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Chuck Lowman. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Boone Fraser; stepmother, Jean Fraser; two daughters, Tammy A. Fraser and Travis Ann Johns; three sons, Keith C. Hunt, Kraig P. Hunt and Marion H. Hunt Jr.; two brothers, Jack M. Fraser II and Patrick Kim Fraser; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Theresa M. and Jack M. Fraser Sr. His hobbies were oil painting, stained glass and caring for his roses. Pallbearers will be Jack M. Fraser II, Patrick Kim Fraser, Severin Summers III, Keith C. Hunt, Kraig P. Hunt and Shane Boone. Honorary pallbearers are Brent Boone, Clay Boone, Jim Dusang and Tony Watkins. He believed in his heavenly Father and died at peace knowing that he was saved. The family would like to thank all of his friends, relatives, CDI friends and the many others who prayed and supported him during his illness. We would also like to thank Dr. Frederic Billings and his staff at Louisiana Hematology Associates, Dr. Fields at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center and the staff at St. Joseph Hospice for their love, care, support and kindness.
