Jodi Griffon

"God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around you and whispered, "Come to Me".

On September 12, 2015 our sweet Jodi passed away from complications with diabetes. Those who knew her will remember those spectacular high board dives and gymnastic feats where no fear existed. She is survived by her husband George Griffon III, her son Beau Griffon, her daughter Georgia Griffon; her father Leonard Kleinpeter; her sister Kelli Kleinpeter (Mike) Becnel; and brothers Briar and Britton (Leslie) Kleinpeter; and her mother in law Margaret Hart. She is preceded in death by her mother Ann Gourrier Kleinpeter.

Visiting hours will be observed on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway from 12:00 PM until the funeral service begins at 2:00 PM.

In her final wishes and in her own words, Jodi left notice to "thank my Hospice nurse Pauline, my caregiver and special friend Kristi Brook who took care of me every day and never left my side. More special thanks to the doctors, nurses and friends who loved me during both good and bad times. My strongest supporter and special hero is my big sister Kelli who I love from the bottom of my heart. I thank George for his love and strength and especially for not giving up. I know you will continue to be a great father to Beau and Georgia. I love you forever and always remember that I AM OKAY." "Never say goodbye because saying goodbye means forgetting" - Peter Pan
