Joanne Conn

A homemaker and resident of Baton Rouge, she died of cancer at 4 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. She was 75, and a native of Leominster, Mass. Memorial service at Resthaven Funeral Home on Thursday, April 8, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Milford Walters. Survived by her husband of 55 years, Gordon R. Conn longtime close friends, John and Laine Darling, of Baton Rouge sisterinlaw, Barbara Muscente and husband Nicholas brotherinlaw, Richard A. Conn numerous nieces and nephews stepsister, Helene Swartz and stepbrother, Charles Tisdale. Preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Hazel Vallee. She was a graduate of Leominster High School, Class of 1952. She was a lover of animals and gardening and had a passion for watching and participating in golf. She loved the outdoors. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph Hospice or the Humane Society.
