Joann Romanowski

Joann Marilyn Michaels Romanowski, born May 25, 1932, passed into the loving arms of the Lord on Tuesday October 23, 2012 at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center leaving a loving family to cherish precious memories. A wife, mother, sister, daughter and grandmother filled her 80 years with abundant love and dedication to her family. Originally from Wyandotte, Michigan and Married to Ralph Romanowski for 44 years until his passing in 1996. Survived by 6 of 7 children. Preceded in death by her daughter Nancy Jo Romanowski Kimbrell who passed in 2004. Children are Kathy Romanowski Kueppers and her husband Dean, Gerry Romanowski, Carl Romanowski, Raymond Romanowski and his wife Sue, Robby Romanowski and Ann Marie Romanowski Cane and her husband Robert 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A private family ceremony to be held at Resthaven Funeral Home with burial to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. A special thanks to the staff at Old Jefferson Community Care and Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Cancer Society.
