Jimmy Ott Nettles, Sr.
A loving and devoted husband, father and friend, Jimmy Ott Nettles, Sr., resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014, after a brief illness. He was 71 and was retired from Dow Chemical after 32 years of service. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and especially enjoyed working LSU sporting events as a marshall.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Loretta Cascio Nettles daughter, Kimberly Nettles Chiasson three sons, Keith Ott Nettles, Kevin Ott Nettles and wife Christy, and Jimmy Ott Nettles, Jr. and wife Sarah five grandchildren, Cameron Chiasson, Cade, Cole, Ava, and Rhett Nettles and numerous other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Addie Zell Ott Nettles.

Visitation will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 12:00 pm until funeral service at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
