Jimmy Hollis

Jimmy P. Hollis Hoot passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 at the age of 70. He was a native of Alexandria, La and a resident of Baton Rouge, La. Jimmy was an avid LSU baseball and football fan. He loved camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Jimmy retired from BASF. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda Hollis children, Jeff Hollis and wife Heather, and Jennifer Hollis Diamond and husband Trey, grandchildren, Blake Hollis, Grant Hollis, and Hannah Diamond. Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother Marie Tookie Satterthwaite fatherinlaw and motherinlaw, Darrel and Joyce Sing. Visitation will be held at 8:30 am until funeral service at 10:30 am on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Our Lady of Mercy, 445 Marquette Ave. Baton Rouge, La. 70806. Interment to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 1187 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, La. 70816. Pallbearers are Blake Hollis, Grant Hollis, Trey Diamond, Keith Sing, Kerry Parent, Mike Belanger, and honorary pallbearer Steve Sing.
