Jim Berry

Jim D. Berry resident of Baton Rouge, La passed away on Tuesday, November 06, 2012 at the age of 67. For over 32 years of service, Jim recently retired as the Vice President of Reintjes Services, Inc of the Geismar location. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Janel Gager Berry two daughters and soninlaw, Rachelle and Gary Miller, and Melissa Burger two sons and daughterinlaw, Craig and Barbara Bryan, and Jimmy Berry II 11 grandchildren 7 greatgrandchildren three sisters, Lillie Mae Gay, Peggy Lewandoski, and Glenda Granger one brother, Jessie Berry and beloved dog, JoJo. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eurie and Allie Berry daughter, Stephanie Bryan three sisters and four brothers. Jim loved spending time with his family, he was a member of YMCA and enjoyed fishing. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 6 pm until 9 pm and will resume on Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 9 am until funeral services at 11 am. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory following the service.
