Jerry Lee Dennis passed away May 13, 2016 in Baton Rouge at the age of 67. He was born in Texas, but was a long time resident of Baton Rouge. He retired from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) as the Resident Agent in Charge of Baton Rouge after 29 years of service. He served as the President of the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators (IABTI) and was also an instructor. He traveled the world doing what he loved, teaching others about explosives.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristina (Kristi) Dennis Munro, his son, Daniel Brumley, and his grandchildren, Sage Brumley and Billy Munro, his brother and wife, Rick and Lisa Dennis, Roger Dennis, and his many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Addie Dennis.
Visitation is scheduled for 10:00am with a Memorial Service to begin at 11:00am at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home in Baton Rouge, on June 11, 2016.
