Jerri Estep

Jerri Estep, 55 years old, a native of Baton Rouge, La, died Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Baton Rouge General Hospital after her courageous battle with breast cancer.

She was born in Baton Rouge to William L. Kornrumpf, III and Robbie Braud Kornrumpf on October 4, 1960.

She is a retired Office Manager having worked for the State of Louisiana for 34 years.

Jerri was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved everyone, gardening, the outdoors and life itself.

She is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Robbie Kornrumpf and sisters Susan L. Kornrumpf and Jeanne Dell Moniotte.

Jerri is survived by "The Love of Her Life", her husband of 23 years, Doug Estep; daughter, Karen Romaire and Matt, and son, Chad Estep and Julie Ann. She is also survived by her sisters, Patricia Tomasetti and Tom, Beverly Cain and Ronnie, and Stephanie LeClercq and Chris; brothers-in-law Kenneth Estep and Cheryl, Danny Estep, and Mike Estep and LaVerne. She is also survived by her grandsons Pierson Romaire and Colt Estep and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Estep, Danny Estep, John LeRoy, Jared Vavasseur, Pat Braud and Paul Braud. Honorary pallbearer Mark Tomasetti and Kenneth Estep.

Visitation will be from 5 pm to 8pm on Saturday, July 16 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 11:00 am until the Funeral Mass at 12 pm on Monday, July 18 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with Father Dupre of St. Patrick's Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
