Jeremy Klimavicz

Jeremy Jude Klimavicz, age 48, of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on September 7, 2021. The beloved husband of Dana Jeffers Klimavicz and devoted father to Lily Klimavicz is also survived by his parents, John J. Klimavicz and Gynne Malstrom Klimavicz, his brother, John J. Klimavicz, II (Hyon Sun Chong), his sister, Karin Klimavicz Deen, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeremy was the owner and operator of Southern Blinds and Shutters, LLC, and a proud graduate of Catholic High School (1991).  He was an Eagle Scout with a deep devotion to God and Country and a Ford Mustang enthusiast. Jeremy loved spending time with his family and friends, whether taking in an LSU or Saints football game, or taking on a hiking adventure in any national park.  Most of all, Jeremy cherished his role as “Papa”.

Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, from 5 pm - 7:30 pm, with the Holy Rosary at 6:30 pm. Visitation will continue at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Ave., Baton Rouge, LA 70806, on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, from 9 am - 10 am, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA 70816.

Pallbearers will be David Roberie, Michael Stewart, Christopher Jeffers, John J. Klimavicz, II, Brad Bourg, Jason Giacone, and John Warden (Honorary).
