Jere Slocum

Jere R. Slocum Jr., age 61, passed away on April 15, 2015 at his home.

Jere was an Engineer for Texaco, Coastal and El Paso Energy. He lived every moment that was given to him to its fullest extent. He had a passion for the finer things in life and liked to share them with his friends and loved ones. He was a lover of the arts and had a penchant for drawing and crafting metal orchids.

Jere is survived by his nephews, Sean Jones and Christopher Hill; and several friends across the country including Dr. Jimmy Nowell.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jere Slocum Sr. and Miriam Cobb Slocum.

Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
