Jeffrey "Jeff" Guerin

Jeffrey “Jeff” Guerin departed this world on March 30, 2024, at the age of 65. He was born on January 12, 1959, in Baton Rouge, LA. 

Jeff graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1978 and attended college for 2 years. Always the most popular, coolest, and fun loving, Jeff seemed to be friends with everyone. He relocated to Seattle, WA and was employed for over 25 years as a master electrician with EHS electrical contractors. One of his many projects was working on major electrical renovations and updates at the University of Washington. Jeff enjoyed a beautiful life in Seattle and returned home in 2013. 

He was preceded in death by his mother Yvonne Lamotte Guerin, brother, Alvin Louis Guerin, Jr., Maternal grandmother, Mabel Graves Lamotte, Paternal grandmother Mary Decuir Guerin, Maternal grandfather, Roosevelt Paul Lamotte, Sr, Paternal grandfather, Norman Guerin, Sr. and nephew, Ernie Burford, II. 

He is survived by his father, Alvin Louis Guerin, Sr., son, Bryce Guerin, sister, Shawna Guerin, brother, Kurt Guerin (Terrie), aunts, Patricia Lamotte, Barbara Franklin (Larry), Jeannette Bishop, and Dora Guerin. Nieces, Brittani Bell, Kirbie Guerin, Kaitlin Guerin. Nephew, Brandon Guerin. 

Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Saturday, April 6, 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Extra special thanks goes to his personal aid, Earl Hutton who has been there for Jeff every day for the past 4 years. We cannot express adequate appreciation for the care she provided for Jeff. We will miss you Jeff and pray that you will rest in peace and love.
