Jeff Martin

Carlos Jeff Martin, 50, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2014. He was a native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Jeff loved LSU football, watching his kids play soccer and spending time with his family. He enjoyed watching Fox News, cooking, being a handy man, fishing, and he would do anything for a diet coke. As his children attended Most Blessed Sacrament, he was a member of the MBS Mens Club and was very involved with Cub Scout Pack 777. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Tammy Martin daughter, Brandi Martin two sons, Brant and Oren Martin sister, Beverly Hinderman and husband Mark four nieces, Brooke Rhodes and husband Dr. Brent Rhodes, Lauren Turnage, Hope Jambon and husband Jason, and Hannah Hinderman brothersinlaw, Donald Turnage and wife Phyllis, and Samuel Boudreaux III and his beloved pup Hershey. Preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Annie Knippers Martin and sisterinlaw, Kathy Boudreaux. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 from 5 pm to 9 pm and will resume on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Most Blessed Sacrament, 15615 Jefferson Hwy., from 10 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am, conducted by Father Phil Spano.
