Jeannette Brooks

Jeannette Marie Brooks, 79, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014. She was a native of Batchelor, LA resident of Orlando, Florida. Jeanette enjoyed cooking and traveling. For her ten year dedicated services as a volunteer, she received an award as a Pink Lady at Womans Hospital. She was a devoted member of Sherwood Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter and soninlaw, Lynn and Jim Ray son, Mills and Diane Onellion grandson, Chris Onellion and wife Nicole two greatgrandchildren, Zachary and Anthony Onellion two sisters, Yvonne Acaldo and Thelma Kimball and brother, Edward Brooks. Preceded in death by her parents, Henry T. and Mary A. Brooks.

Visiting will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, on Friday, May 2, 2014 from 10:00 am until service at 12:00 pm, conducted by Dr. David Womack.
