Jeanette Guidry

Gods greatest gift returned to God, our mother. Jeanette Leona Wirth Guidry passed away on Monday, September 24, 2012 at the age of 83. She is survived by her loving children, Carol Ann Guidry, Angela Angie Cooper and husband Paul, Cynthia Cindy Santangelo, and Jacqueline Jackie Guidry four grandchildren, Christopher Romero, Kristen Mikel Santangelo, Keith Santangelo and wife Dina, and Micah Santangelo and fianc Jennifer Lessard three greatgrandchildren, Madison, Michael, and Mason. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Woody Guidry son, John Edward Guidry and her parents, Eddie and Lena Wirth. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 5 pm until 9 pm and will resume on Wednesday, September 26 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church from 10:30 am until Mass of Christian burial at 12 noon, officiated by Rev. Michael Collins. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Jeanette was a mother hen who loved and cared for her children and family dearly. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and St. Alphonsus Catholic Church Ladies Alter Society. The family would like to thank Dr. Herchel Dean, Dr. Cefalu, Hospice in His Care, especially Jeri and Deborah, Sr. Companion Program, and her sitter, Louise Ratcliff.
