Jean Little

July 3, 1939 — January 14, 2014

Jean Prewitt Marler Little passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the age of 74. She was a native and resident of Baton Rouge. Jean was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 35 years, Donald Little, Sr. sons, Rusty Marler and wife Kelly, Randall Marler, Donnie Little and wife Julie daughters, Paula Hargrave, Pamela Spinks and husband Johnny Sr., and Wendi Little 16 grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren brother, Douglas Prewitt and wife Susie sister, Carolyn Kimbel and beloved dog, Bear. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Notre Prewitt daughter, Patricia Bourgeois and grandson, Jamie Douglas Goudeau. She was a loving wife, and an excellent mother and grandmother. Jean was a graduate of Istrouma High School. She was the coowner of Action Foundation Repairs. Jean loved to shop, was an avid reader, loved LSU and Saints football, and enjoyed watching Young and the Restless. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816 on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 10:00 am until services beginning at 12:00 pm. Her brother, Reverend Douglas Prewitt will be officiating.
