A native of Winnfield, LA and resident of Denham Springs, LA died Monday, July 30, 2012 at 2 p.m. at his home. He was 85 years old. A Navy veteran of World War II, retired from Boilermakers Union 582 and Enterprise RentACar. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 with a rosary at 7 p.m. Visiting resumes at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. conducted by Rev. Tom Duhe. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his wife, Octavia Berry daughter and soninlaw, Lisa and Eddie Wilbur two sons and a daughterinlaw: Michael and Donna Berry and Ronnie Berry sister, Nell Swarts eight grandchildren: Joey Berry and wife, Loren, Jamie Perpera and husband, Jeff, Jason Berry and wife, Elizabeth, Claire Hebert and husband, Dusty, Anne Berry and fiance, Ross LeBlanc, Seth Wilbur, Dylan Wilbur, and Keston Wilbur four greatgrandchildren: Cruiz, Jianna, Joey, and Beau. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 5530, and Holy Name Society.
