Jasper Newton Cole III, always known as Jamie, moved on to the next part of his journey on September 27, 2023. Jamie is survived by so many of his loved ones including his children: Christopher, William and daughter-in-law Heather, Adam, Eva and son-in-law Dillon. As a young man stepping into a role of being a true Father, he loved all his children, no matter how different they were. He wanted nothing more than to see them succeed and be happy in whatever goals they pursued. He would find as many opportunities as possible to mention his children, so that everyone knew just how proud he was. He was fortunate to have a growing family and grandchildren that he loved: Winry, Killian, Astrid, and Blakely. Pops, as he was called, hoped that the smile he showed the world would be passed onto them in the same way he passed it onto his children. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Tracie, whom he grew with on his journey of life and the mysteries of parenting, to love, protect and nurture the extension of their family trees; his father, Jasper Newton Cole JR and wife, Renee; and his brothers Brad, Layne, and Justin, all of whom he loved unconditionally, attributing the success that he had as a father to the family that he came from. He is preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca, and brother, Jason.
A special thank you to Michelle for the love and care that she gave to Jamie in his time of need. Jamie wanted to make sure that you knew that your support is what helped him find strength when he started to waver. Jamie often said that you were always exactly what he needed, when he needed it "For real, for real".
Jamie was truly a rock for so many people throughout his life and anyone that knew him knew that you could always expect to be greeted with a smile, a warm meal, and the most enthusiastic dancing that you couldn't help but join in. He was passionately moved by music, often posting songs that resonated with him on his social media and cooking, which he passed on to all his children. Above all, he loved his family, no matter what, doing his best to show them that life has so much to offer, if you only take a second to slow down and allow yourself to be happy.
Jamie knew so many people and touched so many lives. His final wishes were for everyone to celebrate life in the same way that he did, smiling. As such, there will be a small memorial to celebrate his life with immediate family and friends. He has asked that all our thoughts and prayers be sent out into the world, and reflected in the way we treat others, and that we continue his legacy by living in love and happiness with one another.
