Hollier, Dr. Jason Cannon

Jason Cannon Hollier, 45, a native of Pasadena, TX, and a resident of Mandeville, LA, was born on May 21,1972, and entered Eternal Life with His Lord and Savior on March 14, 2018. He was a graduate of LSU and LSU Dental School of New Orleans, LA. Jason was a US Navy Veteran having served as a Lt. Commander and naval dentist for 20 years. Upon returning to Louisiana, Jason practiced dentistry in Slidell. He is survived by his father, David A. Hollier of Central, his fiance, Nadja Schwenk of Franklin Square, NY, uncle and aunt, Dr. David and Gale Cannon of Alexandria, MN, aunts, Judy and Theresa Cannon of Baton Rouge, Barbara Hollier of Glenmora, LA and Sharon Hollier of Woodville, MS, numerous other relatives and friends, and his beloved English Lab, Gibson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Cannon Hollier, grandparents Lawrence and Essie Cannon and Antonio and Gladys Hollier. Jason enjoyed cooking for his family and friends and was a New Orleans Saints fan. Visiting will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 9:00-11:00 AM with services following at 11:00 conducted by Fr. Vidrine, Retired Naval Chaplain. Pallbearers are Keith Coulon, Dr. Michael Ferguson, Johnny Hanney, Dr. Ryan Matherne, Mark Shelton and Jason VanBuskirk. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Jason's memory. Jason was taken from this earthly life too soon but will live on in our hearts forever.
