Jason Burkett

Jason Blaine Burkett, 44, a resident of Greenwell Springs, LA., passed away on February 25th, 2021.

He was a graduate of Central High School, a devoted father, son, grandfather and dearly loved friend by many.

Jason is survived by his two children, Blaine Burkett and Ava Burkett and her fiancé Jacob Church, along with their mother, Cheree Burkett; his brother, Shane Burkett and wife Nikki; sisters, Ashley Taylor, Tiffany Boudreaux, Michelle Bossier and her husband Chris; Jill Congemi and husband Chris; father, Charles Burkett and stepmother, Joan Burkett; stepfather, Jay Watson; grandmother, Marian Robillard; his pride and joy granddaughter Stella Rosalyn and Owen, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Jason is preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Ann Watson; grandfather, Clyde Robillard; grandmother, Rosalie Attuso Burkett and grandfather, Cecil “Buddy” Burkett.

Jason meant so much to many people, he will be missed dearly.

Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home 11817 Jefferson Highway on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 12:30pm until services at 2:30 pm.
