Jasmine "Jazzy" Courts, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA received her angel wings on March 20, 2019 at the age of 24.
Jasmine was born on January 27,1995 in Greenville, MS to Lillie Denease Moore and Daniel James Courts. She was an honor student at Leflore Elementary School in Itta Bena, MS, she continued her education at Baker Middle School in Baker, LA and graduated with Honors from Woodlawn High School in 2014. Jasmine was a loving daughter and sister and always brought a smile to everyone's face when in her presence.
She is survived by her mother, Lillie Smith; her seven sisters, Deneatrice Moore, Joycelyn Keomoungkhoune, Jamillian Courts, Janesha Smith, Marquetta Courts Morton, Melissa Joanne Courts, and Shirley Courts Howard; her six brothers, Jamil Courts, Danny James Courts, Danny Aaron Courts, Aintoine Courts, Daniel Lee Courts, and Quincy James Courts; grandmother, Sarah W. Moore; grandfather, JC Coates; nine aunts; four uncles; eleven nieces; ten nephews; and a host of cousins.
Jasmine is preceded in death by her grandmother, Virgie Buxton and grandfather, Plez Moore, Jr.
Visitation will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm. Funeral service will be Friday, March 29, 2019 from 10:00am until 11:00am at United Christian Faith Ministry, 9229 Ridgewood Dr. Baton Rouge, LA.
