Janice Mclaws

A longtime resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Washington Parish, she passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, surrounded by her daughter, Stephanie and her beloved caregivers. She was 81 years old. Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie McLaws deSouza and her husband, Gabriel grandchildren, Daniel, Paulo and Marcos deSouza great grandson, William Knighton deSouza sister, Donis Southworth brother, Bobby R. Passman. Preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Passman and Francis Simmons Passman and five siblings. The family wishes to thank Hospice of Baton Rouge, especially Nettie, for your caring manner. With all of our hearts, we wish to thank all of the caregivers and staff at Capitol House Nursing Home. Graveside service will be at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 11am.
