Janet Meng

Janet Meng passed away at The Carpenter House on Monday, December 14, 2020 at the age of 89.

She is survived by her sons, John Meng, Keith Meng and wife Shannon, and Michael Meng and wife Kimberly; grandchildren, John Louis Meng, Jr. and wife Jennifer, Taylor Meng, Tristyn Meng, Kelly Tillman, and Layla Meng; great-grandchildren, John “Tripp” and Tucker; siblings, Margaret “Totsy” Andre, Emerson Newton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Meng; parents, Eddie and Marie Newton; brothers, Johnny Newton and Emory Newton; and daughter-in-law, Beth Meng.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  Visitation will continue at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m.  Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
