Janel Theresa ("Jane") Horn

Janel Theresa “Jane” Horn passed away at home in Alvin, Texas, on September 11, 2024. She was 93 years old. Jane was married to the loving husband of 43 years, William "Bill" Horn, until his passing in November 1994. Together they opened Horn Concessions, later she worked at Hancock Fabrics.

Jane is survived by her daughter, Lida Soileau; her grandchildren Christian, Jean Marc, Gabrielle, and Michelle; and her great-grandchildren Matthew, Todd, Dean, and Claire.

 Mrs. Horn was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her granddaughter, Danielle; her siblings, Elva, Willard, Irene, and Mary; and her parents, Joseph Fontenot and Tilda Vezina Fontenot.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge. A Visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
