Jane Kling Wilson, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA., passed peacefully from this world to her heavenly home on Monday July 16, 2018. She was 93 and was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Clyde V Wilson. She is survived by her children, Becky Wilson Mangin, and her husband Mike, Karen Wilson Sirman, and her husband Mike, Glenn Wilson and his wife Ruby. She was so very proud and thankful for her family. "Gran" was a wonderful grandmother to her 8 grandchildren; Teresa White Bailey (husband Mac Bailey), Mindy White Gautreaux (husband Kevin Gautreaux) , Kevin White (wife Denise White), Kyle Sirman (wife Jenny LeBlanc), Krystal Sirman King (husband Howard King), Rachel Sirman, Jessica Locke (husband Jeremy Locke), Tory Wilson, (wife Allison Wilson); Gran adored her 21 great-grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of Jefferson Baptist Church, and served as the church librarian for many years. She was a school bus driver for 20 years. She wrote many stories of her experiences. A strong woman, she loved the 'Mississippi woods" and going to "the camp", learning to hunt and fish! She loved her LSU Tigers and was an avid fan! At 75, she learned to play a dulcimer and became a charter member of the Lagniappe Dulcimer Society. The family will receive friends and relatives for visitation at Resthaven Funeral Home in Baton Rouge, LA., on Friday evening from 5pm to 8pm and visitation Saturday July 21 from noon to services at 2 pm at Resthaven. Burial at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Memorial contributions may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, the Louisiana Epilepsy Foundation, or Jefferson Baptist Church Missions programs.
