James Walters

James D. Walters Jim, 71, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2013. A native of Lincoln, IL and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Mary Ellen Walters two sons and daughterinlaw, Michael and Jill Walters, and Sean Walters one stepdaughter, Stephanie Landry and husband Barry two grandchildren, Erin and Erika three stepgrandchildren, Cody, Heather, and Madie and four siblings, Russell Baker, Mildred Comeaux, Jean James, and Lois Smith. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Hilda Walters and three siblings, Eleanor Sanders, Freddy Baker, and Linda Zelietis. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 1 pm until religious service at 3 pm. Interment to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
