James Stone, Sr.

James E. Stone, Sr., age 81, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, Feb 6th, 2017.

He was born in Montgomery, Alabama, graduated from Xavier University of New Orleans, where he met his wife Shirley and later became a Father and Business Entrepreneur.

James is survived by his Wife Shirley Stone; his five sons, Jim Stone, Jr. and wife Phyllis, Daniel Stone and wife Nicole, Chris Stone and wife Kim, Darryl Stone and wife Shamell, and Anthony Stone and his wife Bridget; sister-in-law, Dr. June Lombard-Allen; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 10:00am until services at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Amedysis Hospice, 13702 Coursey Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA, in James E. Stone, Sr's name.
