James Noel Roth, 65, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013. Native of Plaquemine and resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and veteran. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. His favorite hobby was fishing and he was a member of the Local 198 Plumber and Pipefitters Union. He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Goff Roth. They had been married for 42 years. He also leaves behind his daughter Kim Roth Crane and her husband Marco Crane son Eric Thibodaux and his wife Jenny Naquin Thibodaux three grandchildren whom he adored, Blake, Levi, and Liddy his mother Madeline Haydel Roth sisters Carol, Barbara, Janet, Karen, and Marion and his brothers David and his wife Mary, Ricky and his wife Rhonda, and Sidney and his wife Belinda and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by John Reynolds Roth, Jr., Jamie Noel Roth, and John Reynolds Roth Sr. Visitation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Friday, July 19, 2013 from 5 pm until 9 pm and will resume Saturday, July 20, 2013 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Ln., Baton Rouge, LA 70816, from 9 am until funeral service at 10 am.
