James "Jimmy" Parke

James “Jimmy” Parke, age 63, of Walker, LA passed away on February 25, 2023. He was born on February 3, 1960, in Key West, Florida.

Jimmy and his sister became the owners of Capital Auto Paint and Supply following the death of their father, they continued to serve the community as their parents had taught them. Jimmy loved spending time with his family; He was very outgoing and never met a stranger, he would talk to anyone he met. He loved all sports, fishing, hunting, and hockey. He also coached youth sports and umpired. Jimmy was an avid LSU fan and was a season ticket holder for many of the teams.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lanelle Parke and his sister, Judy Crotwell.

Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Angela Gayle Parke; his daughter, Amanda Parke; his son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Kimberly Parke; his grandchildren, Bailey Parke and Trenton Burnett; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gary and Janet McBeth, Max and Gaye McBeth Cruz and Ray Crotwell.

Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, beginning at 12:00 pm until services begin at 2:00 pm.
