James M.D. Sr.

Born December 12, 1927 in Tacoma, Washington. Died Sunday, June 16, 2013 at the age of 85. He received his bachelors degree from the University of Tulsa and his M.D. from Oklahoma University. He was on the teaching staff of Tulane University and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a pediatrician in Baton Rouge for over 30 years in private and partner practice. He was a member of the Baton Rouge Medical Association. He was one of the original members of Bocage Racquet Club and a member of the Krewe of Achilles. Preceded in death by his mother, Florence Jeffrey Crump and father, Leonard Wade Crump. Survived by his five children: Cynthia Cinde Marie Crump Susan Camille Crump Misiorowski and her husband Jeff Misiorowski James Jamey Leonard Crump, Jr. and his wife Mary Kadair Crump David Hamp Hampton Crump and his wife Lana Davis Crump and Michael Chris Christopher Crump and his wife Allison Burleigh Crump brother William Wade Crump and his family twelve grandchildren one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will have a private memorial. Resthaven Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. A reception at the home of Hampton and Lana Crump will take place Wednesday, June 19 from 47pm for family, friends, and former patients.
