Jacqueline Sharp

A resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at Lane Regional Medical Center, Zachary. She was 78. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home on Thursday, May 15, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home on Friday from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by two daughters, Kay Monte and Elaine Meliet; two sons, Keith Sharp and wife Donna and Ken Sharp; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her father, Cornelius Blondie Easley and wife Virginia; mother, Thelma Toad Self and husband Charles. Pallbearers will be Corey Sharp, Ryan Sharp, Donald Carrier, Mika Edwards, Gervais Sharp and Mike Fletcher. Honorary pallbearers are Tony Donachricha and Byron Sharp. She was an avid LSU fan.
