Jacqueline Ann Gaspard, resident of Baton Rouge and native of Belldeau, peacefully walked with Jesus handinhand to her final resting place on Monday, August 25, 2014.
Jackies radiant love and joy for her family and friends is truly her legacy left to anyone whom had the pleasure of knowing her. Her nurturing and generous soul imprinted on the path of many lives.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Dorothy and Cilton Carol.
She was survived by her loving husband of
52 years, Nolan Gaspard. Jackies children are son, Brent Gaspard and his wife Edi, daughter Monica Gaspard Hunt and her husband Brandon. Jackie also has one sister, Janet Aymond and her husband Ronald.
Jackie spent much of her time as a Mae Mae scratching backs, watching movies and attending many many basketball, football, softball games wrestling tournaments and dance recitals for all of her grandchildren Michelle Delaune, Cameron Hunt, Callie Hunt and Canon Hunt. She was also blessed to see two great grandchildren, Hagan Delaune and Ayden Hunt.
The Gaspard family would like to give a special thanks to all of the caring and helpful doctors at St. James Hospice and the continued support of H.P.C.
Visiting hours will be held at Healing Place Church, 19202 Highland Road, Baton Rouge from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with services conducted by Pastor Mike Haman.
Burial is to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11816 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge.
