Jacob Vincent

Praise be to the God and Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:3. Jacob Ryan Vincent fought mightily for nine months and was delivered at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at Womans Hospital. Even before he came into this world, Jacob taught so much to so many about strength and unconditional love. He is survived by his parents, Mark and Caryn Vincent brother, Wyatt grandparents, George and Azucena Vincent, and Jeffrey and Christene Carlisle greatgrandparents, William and Catherine Hall aunt, Connie Vincent and uncle, Ryan Carlisle. He was predeceased by his greatgrandparents, Arthur and Cruz Vincent, Juan and Delores Luarca and Gene and Inez Carlisle. Visiting at St. Joseph Cathedral, Main and Fourth streets, Friday, July 2, from 1 p.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Gerald Young, celebrant. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jacob Ryan Vincent Memorial Fund, co American Gateway Bank, P.O. Box 500, Port Allen, LA 70767. Jacobs family extends their sincere gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from friends and family.
