Ms. Jackie Magruder Weber, age 75, passed away from this life into her heavenly home on Tuesday, July 5,2022.
Ms. Weber was a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. She was born March 19, 1947 in Bogalusa, LA. to James N. Magruder Sr. and Kathryn Joyce Verger Magruder.
She was a graduate of Franklinton High School. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing through Northwestern State University, and her Masters Degree in Health Services Administration through St. Francis College. She advanced from a field nurse to becoming Vice-President of Administration for Baton Rouge Health Care Corporation, formally known as Capitol Home Health. She was active in her church, Parkview Baptist, in the choir and President of her Sunday school class. She had been active with the Arthritis Foundation for many years. She also loved being a world traveler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James N. Magruder Sr. and Kathryn Joyce Verger Magruder, and nephew James(Jim) N. Magruder III.
She is survived by her son and daughter: Kenneth (Kelsy) Weber Jr. , and Angela Kathryn Weber of Denham Springs, LA. “Gee” was a devoted grandmother to 6 grandchildren: Madeline, Kathryn, Timothy, and Adan Weber of Denham Springs, Kaleigh Townley of Baton Rouge, and Lainey Weber of Denham Springs, and one great-granddaughter, Natalie Townley of Baton Rouge, LA.
Jackie is also survived by her sister Pam Magruder Davidson of Mandeville, brothers James(Tammy) Magruder of Franklinton and Virgil(Sherrie) Magruder of Covington, and sister Joyce Magruder Seal of Franklinton, LA. along with many nephews and nieces.
