Jackie Roshto

Jackie Roshto received God's perfect healing when she passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. Jackie was 81, born in Franklinton, LA, and lived in Baton Rouge since the age of 3.

Jackie worked for State National Companies for 32 years. She was appointed Vice President of State National Mortgage Corporation in 1978, and served over 14 years as Senior Loan Underwriter and eventually took over the Company's Quality Control and Compliance Program. After retiring, Jackie volunteered her time with the Senior Volunteer Program of Baton Rouge with a variety of assignments. In addition to this program, she also volunteered at the Baton Rouge General Hospital and served as a Docent for the Old Governor's Mansion. Jackie was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church and also United Methodist Women.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Doyle Roshto; father, Herbert N. Pace; mother, Beatrice Carter Pace; sister, Billie Pace Wennerlund; niece, Brenda B. Scrimager.

Jackie is survived by her daughters, Stacy Roshto of LaCrosse, Wl and Lisa R. Whitaker and son in law Kerry W. Whitaker of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Carter Bahr, Brennan Bahr of LaCrosse, Wl, and Meagan Whitaker of Baton Rouge, LA; sister, Bobbie P. Broussard of Baton Rouge, LA; niece, Valerie Royer of Chattanooga, TN; nephews, Charles B. Wennerlund of Phoenix, AZ, Murray N. Wennerlund of Denham Springs, LA, and Thomas H. Wennerlund of Queen Creek, AZ.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation which will be held at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 17510 Monitor Ave, Baton Rouge, LA on Monday, June 25, 2018 beginning at 10:00am until funeral service at 12:00pm. Reverend Tom Howe will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Jackie's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, or church of choice.
