J Smith

J.W. Smith, born May 4, 1918, died Saturday morning February 16, 2013 at Meadville Convalescent Nursing Home at the age of 94. He served in the Army and retired from Kaiser Aluminum, Baton Rouge, La. Survived by three daughters and sonsinlaw, Mickey and Dwight Wilkinson of Meadville, MS, Maxine and Larry Wilson of Phoenix, AZ, and Charlotte and Fred Siems of Houston, TX 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 greatgreat grandchild. Preceded in death by wife, Margaret Gray Smith, and son Gregory L. Smith. Pallbearers are his grandsons: Chad Wilson, Bernie Granier, Brian Granier and Ron Hollier and Wiley Gray. Services at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Wednesday, February 20,2013 with visitation 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a short service at 1:00 pm conducted by Rev. Huey Moak. Burial to follow in Resthaven Cemetery.
