J. Barrient

Joseph Martin Barrient passed away at the age of 61 in Baton Rouge, La. He was born on August 21, 1956 in Donaldsonville, La. to the late Wilbert Joseph Barrient and Wilsa (Tucker) Barrient. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School. He was engaged to his soulmate, Anneysa Miller Vidrine. Martin is survived by his mother, Wilsa Barrient; sister, Connie Moore and husband Joe; brother, Wayne Barrient and wife Connie; brother, Frank Barrient and wife Johnna; and brother, Bart Barrient along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbert J. Barrient; brother, John W. Barrient and his maternal and paternal grandparents; Cecil and Ethel Tucker and Aurelia and John Barrient.
Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 9:00 am until the start of services at 11:00 am.
Pallbearers will be David Barrient, Charles Thomas Vidrine, Gabriel Vidrine, Taylor Kimball, Victor Moore and Ryen Usher. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kendall Mosing and Bobby Wright
