Ivy Braud

Ivy James Braud, age 88, a native of New Sarpy, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on January 8, 2018.

Ivy is survived by his wife of 66 years, Winnona Lear Braud; his children, Chris Braud and wife Debbie, Craig Braud and wife Pam, Ivy Braud, Jr. and wife Cheryl, and Sheldon Braud and wife Amy, Linda Lashley and husband Fred, and Laura Troxclair and husband Donny; and his grandchildren, Erin (Bobby), Jared (Kristen), Kristin (Trey), Taylor (John), Zachary, Nathan, Stephanie (David), Will (Landry), Mandy (Kenneth), Winona (Brett), Joshua (Aimee), Mathew (Michelle), Jeremy, Justin (Sarah), Brad (Brooke), Travis, Sara, and Samantha; and 22 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Odette Braud; his brothers, Lester Braud and James Braud, Jr.; and his sisters, Zelma Brown and Shirley Ordineaux.

Visitation will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 9:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am. Burial will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Cemetery, Destrehan, LA.
